Pioneer’s decade of restoration is highlighted this issue. We continue with a restored DH-89 Dragon Rapide that first flew in 1934, then explore the saga of a Canadian Cornell CF-CVF now resident in the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. We then look at the Australian-built Wirraway, Boomerang and Mustang which got together for a unique photo opportunity. Completing this issue, we visit the ‘Garber’ work at the National Air and Space Museum. Airshows include Point Cook and Warbirds Over Wanaka. |
